About me and my therapy practice
Do you feel like you have lost your voice and who you are?
You may feel deeply affected by life events such as a separation , a traumatic event, the loss of someone close to you or the loss of something important to you.
I offer a space where you can pause, reflect and be truly heard.
I am sensitive to the needs of each individual and offer compassion, safety and no judgement so that you can be free to express yourself without fear.
I have experience supporting people who have been through difficulties, and sometimes, traumatic situation.
How I work:
My approach integrates different styles of therapy and together we can explore what will be most useful for your journey towards healing.
I draw on differents counselling approaches, including person centred, CBT, creative therapy and Christian counselling among others, to assist my clients.
I am a native French speaker and can also offer counselling in French.
Practice description
I offer help with anxiety, trauma, low self esteem, losses and grief, depression, relationships difficulties, abuse and traumatic events.
I can also offer REWIND therapy for short term support after trauma. It helps to reduce involuntary recalls and lower the impact of it on your life.
I offer online counselling via Zoom: vidéo, chat and email.
Online counselling can be a benefit in a lot of different way; if coming out of the house is a challenge or your location or personal difficulties or carer responsibilities prevent you from meeting up physically, online counselling allows you to have your session at home or in a place of your choosing, without the need to travel.
Sometime people may simply find it easier to discuss certain issues in writing; online counselling helps to achieve that.
My first session
The first session is a time to get to know each other; to see if we are going to be a "good fit".
At the beginning of the session, we will review the counselling agreement together and I will clarify any enquiries you may have. I then may ask you to complete a short form about yourself, if we had not done it already via email before the session.
The rest of the session will be spent with you telling me what brought you to counselling and how you feel it might help you. I will also spend a bit of time enquiring about your situation, in order for me to get a better understanding of you.
What I can help with
Abuse, Anxiety, Cultural issues, Depression, Identity issues, Loss, Post-traumatic stress, Relationships, Self esteem, Self-harm, Service veterans, Spirituality, Stress, Trauma, Women's issues
Types of therapy
Creative therapy, Integrative, Person centred
