About me and my therapy practice
If you are a couple whose relationship has broken down, I can provide a quiet, safe space where you can be honest with yourselves and each other in order to work through the issues you are facing in your relationship.
If your relationship has been affected by an affair, a lack of intimacy, emotional conflict or if you have just drifted apart, I will help you to explore what has gone wrong, improve communication and help you to emotionally reconnect..
My aim is to assist you in finding a way to move forward in your relationship, whether that is together or apart.

About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes life gets complicated and it can all feel a bit too much. At times, we may face a crisis in our lives which we are unable to overcome on our own. Maybe you just feel a bit stuck at the moment and do not have anyone you can talk to about how you feel. If so, it can really help to have someone to talk to. Counselling offers a confidential space where you can be open about the issues you are experiencing and the impact they are having on your life.
If you are not sure how you feel, that is fine too. It can take time to explore and understand what is going on and why it is affecting you so much.
Embarking on counselling may feel daunting but, once you take the first step, it can set you on the road to making positive changes in your life. Sharing your thoughts and feelings in a safe space can be empowering and enlightening.
I use a person-centred approach which means I will work with you at your own pace, getting to the issues that are troubling you in a non-intrusive way. I also hold in mind other theoretical approaches to help you explore and understand your problems. Our work will focus on developing the therapeutic relationship so that you feel emotionally supported throughout your counselling. I will encourage you to feel free to be honest with me and your honesty will not be met with any judgment.
I work with clients with a variety of issues. I have worked in an Emotional Wellbeing Centre working one to one with clients in addiction and survivors of domestic abuse. My work is helping people to make sense of their issues, grow more confident in their ability to face life’s challenges, trust their own judgments and take control of their lives.
My fees for individual sessions are:
Online - from £60 for a 50 minute session
Face to Face - from £75 for a 50 minute session
I accept referrals from a variety of healthcare insurance providers including Axa Health, Aviva, Bupa and Vitality.
