About me and my therapy practice

Counselling can help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, increasing self esteem and confidence, thus allowing you to live the life you want.

As your therapist, I will facilitate a process that will look at how set patterns and beliefs may be affecting your choices and relationships. I will support you in trusting yourself to help find your own solutions.

I have a background working in The Arts, with Animals and The Outdoors.

I work relationally from a Person Centred framework and can integrate Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at different stages, which means I use complimentary theories to support our work together and believe the relationship is most important. Our work is always collaborative.

My experience includes working with children, young adults and adults on a short and long term basis.

I have worked in the Community, within the NHS, Schools/Colleges, in Private Practice and led a Bereavement service.

I have also trained and worked as an Equine Assisted Psychotherapist and Coach at Operation Centaur in Richmond.
