Practice description
I work with people of all ages and backgrounds, at different stages of their lives and with different things that they would like to address. Sometimes people come with something specific such as anxiety or a bereavement, following a relationship breakdown or with obsessive compulsive symptoms. Sometimes people come because they are dissatisfied with work, or relationships; friendships, family or intimate relationships. And sometimes people come because they feel stuck or out of sorts, like they want things to be different and they're not sure how, but they want change somehow. Individuals and couples.
I offer a place to be, a place to be heard, where you can be yourself, or find yourself. A place to understand patterns and roles, to think, to feel, without judgement, if you feel stuck, or want things to be different: a place to explore.
I have a lot of experience of life and several years of working with clients. If you would like to see whether you think I can help you, please call or email. I will be happy to answer any questions; to arrange an initial half hour chat to discuss your needs further in person; or to book a first appointment.
My first session
I would meet you first for an introductory meeting on Zoom, of up to half an hour and for which I do not charge.
We have the chance to meet each other, for you to see whether you think you would like to work with me and for me to see whether I think I can help you. It is an opportunity for you to tell me about yourself and what brings you to therapy, to see how I work and to ask any questions you may have.
I generally sign a contract with you in our fourth session once we both have a clearer idea of what the work is and what you want to commit to at this time.
What I can help with
Abuse, Anxiety, Bereavement, Child related issues, Cultural issues, Depression, Disability, Health related issues, Identity issues, Loss, OCD, Relationships, Self esteem, Self-harm, Sex-related issues, Sexual identity, Sexuality, Spirituality, Stress, Trauma, Women's issues, Work related issues

Practice description
I see clients from a wide range of backgrounds and of different ages, races, nationalities, sexualities and genders.
Sometimes people come seeking support with a very specific issue and sometimes with a general sense that things are not as they would like, in their lives or in how they experience things.
