About me and my therapy practice

I am a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist. I trained at The Tavistock Centre. I have been working therapeutically with children, young people and families for 10 years. I specialize in working with children and young people with neurodiversity - particularly Autism and ADHD, as well as other neurodiverse conditions. I trained at a specialist NHS service for neurodevelopmental disorders and has worked in general CAMHS and eating disorders service at NHS hospital.

Before training at The Tavistock Centre, I qualified as early years teacher and taught in mainstream private and state special educational settings. I have been working with children and families for 20 years.

During my career I gained significant experiences at working with children, young people and families with complex needs. Alongside working with children and young people with ASC and ADHD and other neurodiverse conditions, I offer psychotherapy for wide range of emotional behaviour difficulties including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties with peers and family, aggressive behaviour, tantrums, bereavement and loss, eating disorders and body image and appearance anxiety, self-harm, trauma. I also offers therapeutic support for parents.

Currently, I work in private practice and teach on MA course at The Tavistock Centre.

My personal approach is flexible and led by the individual needs of the child, young person and family. I use a range of resources and techniques that are informed by psychoanalytic understanding of the mind.
