About me and my therapy practice
When life's challenges become overwhelming and you're struggling to make sense of events, your emotions, your behaviour or the actions of others towards you, allowing yourself to seek support is the first step towards resolving your difficulties. The next step is finding the right support for you.
As a qualified and experienced psychotherapeutic counsellor, my approach to helping you is relational, person-centred and transcultural. Using a genuine, confidential, non-judgemental talking therapy, I aim to offer therapeutic support in a calm, relaxed and creative environment.
Whether you are experiencing anxiety and/or depression, family or relationship issues, challenges in your studies or work, cultural difficulties or personal development issues, we can explore these together - discovering new perspectives, as you move towards a better understanding of yourself and circumstances. The therapy can move at a pace that suits you, so that you can move on with your life.
Other services I offer include personal development, mentoring for counsellors in training, plus individual/group facilitation of the exploration of race and culture in therapy and other helping relationships. Please contact me for more information.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified and experienced psychotherapeutic counsellor, group facilitator, trainer and mentor with experience in working with the transcultural relationship in therapy settings and other helping relationships. I am currently an associate tutor for a Post-Graduate Diploma course in Person-Centred Counselling.
For helping professionals and organisations wishing to explore the significance of race, culture and heritage in the context of their work, I offer a programme of bespoke interactive online/on-site training workshops. The space is confidential, experiential, creative and expressive - stimulating awareness and encouraging sensitivity through word, mark-making, movement and sound. Participants are invited to consider their responses to cultural and racial differences, to explore the impact of these responses on mental health and wellbeing, and to share best practice.
My online mentoring service offers confidential, practical and emotional support throughout the counselling training experience. As a mentee, you will be encouraged to reflect, goal set and consider different perspectives. You will increase your self-awareness, strengthen your skills and boost your confidence. As your mentor, I will be your motivator and advocate, supporting you to navigate the challenges of training to be a counsellor. Frequency of sessions is by mutual arrangement.
My personal development services for qualified counsellors offer tailored support (1-1 or in small groups) for exploring the significance of race, culture and heritage in personal and therapeutic contexts.
