About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified and experienced counsellor who loves to provide a space in which people are listened to and supported. I am currently offering sessions online and in the outdoors (East Belfast area).

Seeking counselling can be a daunting process and you may be wondering what to expect. When working with clients, I focus on building a connection and relationship that can help bring about positive changes and personal growth. I offer a safe space to discuss what is meaningful to you without judgement.

I would call myself an integrative therapist which means that I tailor my approach to each individual and to their unique situation. This allows me to create a way of working that is appropriate and helpful for each client in getting to where they want to be at the conclusion of therapy.

I am also trained in integrating coaching with counselling, which means that I can use approaches and techniques that support clients who wish to make positive changes in their life as a result of the work we do together.

Some examples of why people come to see me include trauma, anxiety, depression, religious/spiritual trauma, relationship or family difficulties, bereavement, child loss, fertility issues and identity shifts/transitions.

I have experience of working with clients in a variety of settings such as prison, charities and privately. I currently work as a counsellor for a large Mental Health charity in Belfast alongside my private work. This offers me the privilege of counselling people of all ages who represent a wide range of gender, sexual, cultural and spiritual identities.

I love what I do and I am always open to chatting to anyone that is thinking about starting therapy.

Practice description

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ

I currently work at Tilia Therapy (www.tiliatherapy.co.uk) to offer online counselling. I love this way of working with clients as it offers such important accessibility to a wide range of people. For many, working online allows them to talk from a space that feels safe and comfortable as well as working practically with time restraints.

I absolutely adore being outside in nature and have known the benefits for my own mental wellbeing. Being in nature can support and nurture us as we connect with ourselves, others and the world. Following outdoor therapy training in 2023, I have expanded my practice to include outdoor walk and talk sessions. These last for 50 mins and walks are based in the East Belfast area. For more info, get in touch by emailing webb_sarah@protonmail.com

My first session

I know it can be hard to choose a counsellor, so to make it easier for you, I am happy to offer you a no-obligation 15 minute call.

Following this, I offer an initial consultation (50 minutes) which acts as a 'getting to know you' session and enables you to work out whether therapy with me will be the right fit for you.

If you would like to book an initial session for online work, please complete the following referral form.
