About me and my therapy practice

Welcome! My name is Lee and I am a Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ registered counsellor offering therapy on a short or long term basis.

I'm aware of how difficult and overwhelming it can be to search and find the right therapist and that's why I would like to tell you a few things about me and how I work.

I have 21 years of experience providing counselling and therapy. I believe in working with you to understand your concerns in a friendly and non-judgemental manner. My experience has been gained working in the NHS as well as the private, charitable, and voluntary sectors.

I specialise in working with individuals experiencing issues in their relationships, stress, anxiety, panic, depression, anger, self-confidence, difficulties from childhood, OCD, PTSD, personality disorders, life transitions, problems at work, addictions, and trauma both past and present. I have worked with young people through to adults, many of these with complex behavioural needs

I have been working as a counsellor in private practice for 17 years. I have specialised in trauma, complex trauma, addictions, personality disorders and anxiety-related conditions.

My passion in the last few years has been trying to get more men and young men to engage in therapy. I have specialist knowledge working with women but experienced men struggling to seek and participate in therapy.

I offer a male friendly therapy service.

My personal journey has allowed knowledge, wisdom, kindness with a sense of humour to influence my approach as a therapist.

Practice description

Alongside my private practice, I also provide counselling for a counselling service contracted by the NHS. I have in the past practised as a Drug and Alcohol specialist.

My integrative approach means that I am able to draw from a variety of models and techniques of counselling and psychotherapy to ensure that everyone who comes to see me has the opportunity to be met and understood as a unique individual. I offer online and face-to-face sessions.

My first session

I offer a free 30-minute session either face to face, via Zoom video call or by telephone where we can discuss how I can help you and you can ask any questions you may have.

If you decide that I am the right therapist for you, we can schedule our first session and discuss your expectations from therapy and how it can support you in achieving your goals.
