About me and my therapy practice

Recovery from Sex Addiction (or Compulsive Sexual Behaviour) is definitely possible.

Let me show you how!

I work with clients of all ages, sexualities and genders, to recover from addiction to compulsive sexual behaviour.

Feeling embarrassed or shameful about having a problem with compulsive sexual behaviour (e.g. porn, hook-up apps, escorts, cottaging, web cams, OnlyFans etc.), is what often stops people from reaching out for support. Reaching out also means admitting that you have a problem.

Professional Sex Addiction Counsellors like myself are trained to listen without shaming or judging you - in fact, if anything, we admire the courage you have shown in taking that first step towards recovery.

Look, if you realise that you have a problem in this area, if, despite your best efforts to stop, you know that your sexual behaviour is out of control, then please reach out and let's chat about how I might be able to help you.

Practice description

My practice, The Counselling Shed, is positioned in a discrete location between Faversham and Canterbury in Kent.

Counselling sessions are either face to face, online, or a mixture of the two: please call or email and we can work out a best way forward for you.

Appointments are offered daytime or evening subject to availability and sessions are 50 minutes long.

I am LGBTQ+ inclusive.

Here's what my clients say about my counselling practice:

I was initially a bit sceptical about counselling and didn’t really have any expectations that it would make a difference but I have been surprised and amazed by how much it has helped and by how much I have been able to make positive changes in my life. Before coming to counselling I didn’t really understand what ‘unconditionality’ was all about but it has made all the difference. I guess I feared being judged and criticised for my past actions but it’s not been like that at all. Thank you Bradley. Thank you for all of your support. S, Kent.

I just wanted to let you know that I have passed my university degree. Your help and support has been incredible: the best counsellor I’ve ever had. I always looked forward to our sessions and I couldn’t have done this all without you. I, Midlands.

The only thing I keep thinking is why didn’t I do this 15 years ago. I waited so long and struggled on my own all that time. Ok so in the first few sessions I was a bit nervous and I didn’t quite know what to say but you quickly helped me to feel at ease. I then looked forwards to our sessions and the rest followed from there. Thank you Bradley. J, Kent.

Thank you very much Bradley for your help throughout the past few months. I appreciated your style and honesty greatly and I found the sessions to be really helpful. M, London.

Bradley, you have helped me no end. Thank you. This is easily the best thing I’ve done since moving to this country. A, Kent.

(Please note that these clients have given me permission to publish their words).

My first session

Are you feeling apprehensive about seeking Counselling support?

The initial step of deciding whether or not to contact a counsellor – the step that also involves admitting that we could use some support and that we cannot do it all alone – is often a nerve racking step. It is also a courageous step.

So if you are feeling fearful, unsure, worried or scared, then you have my full understanding.

But if you are reading this then you are reading this for a reason. So don't struggle on your own anymore. Reach out and get the support that you need. I look forward to hearing from you,
