About me and my therapy practice

Qualified supervisor, supervisory places also available, please contact for more information*

Are you suffering from Anxiety? Low mood? Depression? When we are unable to manage our feelings by ourselves and find that they are affecting our relationships with others it is often the time to seek help from a therapist.

I aim to help you understand your patterns of relating to others which may help you to develop a greater understanding of yourself and what experiences might have shaped the way you are today. With this insight, together we can attempt to make positive changes to your life to enable you to become the best version of you.

I will work to help you integrate all the aspects of your self to help you to make peace with the parts of yourself that you may currently feel you are at odds with. Those seeking counselling are usually looking to make a change in themselves that will be felt and reflected in their close personal relationships outside of the counselling room.

We sometimes see the world through a lens that is coloured by our prior experiences and expectations that we have had placed on us by ourselves and others. By removing this lens we can see our lives and relationships afresh. Insight into where these lenses have come from can free us to make better choices, or at least to understand why we react or behave in certain ways. This gives us the choice and opportunity to actively engage differently with situations and relationships which ultimately can lead to being more in control and more content with our selves.

Integrative therapy allows me to use a range of approaches to fit your personal requirement that is as individual as you are.

I look forward to working with you soon,

Practice description

I am now offering in-person, Zoom and telephone therapy appointments. Fees vary depending on the time of day.

Walking therapy and Single Session therapy also available. Please inquire for more details.

In addition I also work as a supervisor, I have some supervisory spaces available currently.

As a tutor I also offer academic support to those studying levels 2, 3 and 4 Counselling Studies.

My first session

I offer a free initial 15 min consultation as an opportunity for us to get to know each other.

At our first session we will aim to identify the main areas you wish to work on, consider past issues that might impact you in the here and now. Finally we will consider the impact this is having on you and your relationships and decide what changes (if any) or areas for exploration feel most pressing.

I will also hope to answer any questions you have, identify any sensitivities or past experiences that we might learn from whilst we work together.
