About me and my therapy practice

Hello,

Are you feeling alone, sad, depressed, anxious, confused, angry, stressed or overwhelmed?

As a person-centred counsellor, I can offer a quiet, safe and confidential environment which I believe gives you the opportunity for personal growth and change.

By working together, we will develop a genuine and trusting relationship where you may find you will be able to share things that you have not been able to before. This unloading of hidden or suppressed feelings can be very beneficial.

As a talking therapy, our sessions will give you the opportunity to face and think about the impact of difficult life events and experiences, relationships, emotions, thoughts or behaviour away from the influences of family and friends.

I will listen to you and totally focus on whatever is hurting and/or hindering you from living your life as you want to at this moment.

Couple therapy offers you both support with the possibility of getting your relationship back on track or to strengthen your relationship or to work towards ending your relationship more amicably, especially if you plan to co-parent together.

It is an opportunity for you both to express your feelings and concerns, so that you both feel heard. Listening promotes empathy. This may lead to a better understanding of each other and bring new options within your relationship.

By working together, we may be able to create the future that you wish for yourselves.

I offer individual and couple counselling through face to face , online video or telephone appointments from my room based in Ashurst, Southampton.

Qualification: BA (Hons) in Person-Centred Counselling and Psychotherapy.
