About me and my therapy practice
Hello and thanks for reading my profile. I am an accredited Counsellor offering a warm, non-judgemental space at my private practice called Willow Tree Counselling, in which I hope you feel safe to share the issues that are important to you. My office is situated in central Wrexham and just a short walk from the town centre and there is free parking outside.
In addition to this, I am also qualified to offer walk and talk therapy in a choice of two beautiful nearby locations or telephone/online counselling to keep us both safe during this time, if you would feel better working this way (please note that these two ways of working may not be currently offered depending on my schedule but please enquire to discuss.)
I will not offer advice but I will try to understand what life is like for you as I believe that being truly heard along with having the space and time to sort through the things that are troubling you can help you find your own answers.
The therapeutic services I offer are tailored to the needs of the individual as I recognise that we are all unique. My core beliefs are with a person-centred approach which is at the heart of my work. The introduction of creative elements into therapy can help move away from the logic of ‘left-brain’ processes and into the non-verbal and deeply emotional ‘right-brain’ processes. Sometimes it is easier to show what something feels like, rather than to try and describe it. This creative approach is open to both adults and young people if required.
As an accredited member of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ) I follow a set of ethical principles and guidelines that underpin my practice. I maintain and enhance the quality of my work through regular supervision and continued professional development.
I am working on making my office more accessible for wheelchair users but have the option to use another town centre office if needed and if logistics allow.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified Supervisor and offer supervision to Counsellors (qualified and trainees) as well as social and healthcare professionals.
I offer a creative, confidential and supportive environment for you to explore any concerns you have and to enhance your self awareness.
Whilst I integrate different modalities into my work, my core approach is Person-Centred. I also enjoy working creatively if this is an approach that you feel drawn to and have completed an extra qualification in Integrative Creativd Supervision Skills.
I was a school counsellor for 6 years so I have extensive knowledge of working with young people in educational settings. I now work in private practice with adults and young people.
I am passionate about the importance of the supervisory relationship and my aim is that when you leave your supervision session you will feel confident about your way to move forward.
If you think my relaxed but professional approach would suit you please contact me to discuss your hopes for supervision or to book a session.
