About me and my therapy practice
* ONLY ONLINE/TELEPHONE SESSIONS AVAILABLE*
Are you struggling with life’s challenges? Is it time for change? At times life can feel overwhelming and it can be difficult to see how we can move forward or make things better for ourselves.
Counselling can be the first step towards making positive changes in your life and to ultimately living the life you want to live. I can offer a safe, confidential space, where you can decide exactly what you want to share, where your voice will be truly heard and where you will not be judged. I also offer you respect, empathy, honesty and understanding; the foundations for building an effective therapeutic relationship.
I work with both adults and young people, helping with all the difficulties that life can throw at us. I am particularly passionate about working with young people from 13yrs as they navigate the often difficult and confusing journey into adulthood.
My priority is to help you to the best of my ability. My aim is to encourage you to explore and understand your thoughts and feelings and what it is that keeps you in a place of unhappiness or distress. My hope is that you gain a better understanding and awareness of yourself, your feelings and your relationships, enabling you to move towards growth and change.

About me and my therapy practice
Person Centred following the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision
- My approach is very client-led. It is a more traditional talking therapy whereby the client can use the session time to reflect on their difficulties (whether past or present) in a non-structured way. This approach believes the client knows best and therefore will find the answers themselves when given the opportunity to explore their difficulties. The counsellor's role is more of a supportive than directive one.
Face-to-Face, Online and Telephone
- For both Counselling and Supervision, I offer face-to-face, online and telephone sessions.
- Face-to-face sessions are available at Willyams House, 63B Fore Street, St Columb Major, TR9 6AJ.
- Online sessions are available on Zoom and WhatsApp.
Outdoor Sessions
I am able to offer outdoor sessions for Counselling and Supervision.
Outdoor sessions can be conducted as we walk and talk, out in nature allowing for a relaxing and refreshing experience.
