About me and my therapy practice
When life gets tough, it’s difficult to see the way through. Are you feeling sad, but are too embarrassed or ashamed to tell anyone? Do you force a smile, but inside you're feeling confused and alone? Or perhaps you're feeling anxious and a little afraid of the next panic attack just around the corner - the pounding chest, the shortness of breath, the feeling of the walls closing in?
Especially in difficult times, feelings such as anxiety, depression, anger, sadness, isolation or abandonment can leave us feeling more overwhelmed than ever.
I provide a safe, supportive and confidential space for you explore the struggles you're facing and the root causes of what's holding you back from finding the happiness you truly deserve. Challenges such as trauma, difficult family relationships, stress at work, physical illnesses, addictions, or perhaps not knowing your life's purpose.
Practice description
HONOURING UNQUENESS
As a qualified Integrative therapist, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to help you source your own inner wisdom, while honouring the unique way that you relate with the world.
Most of our challenges in life come from early conditioning and the resulting belief patterns we have about ourselves - the need to be needed, the need to be liked, the need to be in control, the need to feel safe, knowledgeable, and so on.
These beliefs, as much as they are familiar or comforting, in reality keep us trapped, forcing us to live our lives in quite limited ways.
EMPATHIC EXPLORING | HONESTY | DEEP LISTENING
Our sessions allow you to take time out and explore what you really want in your life - what you’d like to be doing with your time, your creativity, your energy; what kind of relationships you’d like to have; and who do you really want to be?
As part of this, you are invited to explore all parts of yourself, including the 'shadow' parts you repress or try to hide from others.
It's only when we recognise and accept all parts of ourselves that we can become more whole and balanced. And in seeing our struggles through the eyes of deep compassion - perhaps for the first time ever - we can move towards nourishing and lasting change.
My first session
No matter how difficult life feels right now, you're already on the threshold of finding a way through it. The next important step is to find a therapist you feel comfortable to work with. I offer a FREE 15-minute initial telephone consultation where we can explore the issues you're facing and how counselling can help you.
Please feel free to get in touch and we can discuss what would work best. My practice is based in Ealing, West London and you can reach me via the contact details provided.
