About me and my therapy practice

Hello,

If you're navigating the challenging terrain of surviving trauma, grappling with anxiety or depression, menopause, long-term illness/conditions or facing life's transitions, know that you're not alone. Amidst the chaos and pain, there is hope, and I'm here to walk alongside you on your path to healing.

About Me

Surviving trauma and facing life's challenges such as anxiety, depression, and transitions can leave us feeling shattered and lost, but I believe in the resilience of the human spirit. With over 7 years of experience in supporting trauma survivors and individuals navigating various life challenges, I offer a compassionate and trauma-informed approach to counselling.

How I Can Help

Trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions can cast a long shadow, impacting every facet of our lives. Whether you're struggling with flashbacks, panic attacks, or a sense of disconnect from the world, or experiencing the profound changes that come with life transitions, I provide a nurturing space where you can feel safe to explore your experiences and emotions.

My Approach

I understand that healing from trauma and navigating life's challenges are deeply personal journeys. My approach integrates trauma-informed techniques with a profound respect for your autonomy and inner strength. Together, we'll embark on a journey of healing and empowerment, reclaiming your sense of agency and self-worth.

What to Expect

In our sessions, you can expect a compassionate and non-judgmental presence. I'll support you as you navigate the complexities of trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and everything in between, offering support and validation every step of the way. You are the expert of your own healing journey, and I'm here to honour and support your process.

Get Started

Taking the first step towards healing can feel daunting, but remember, you've already shown incredible courage by seeking support. If you've read this far, then reach out, I'm here.

Practice description

Currently, I primarily offer counselling services via video conference or telephone. In-person sessions, in Charminster, Bournemouth (room up a flight of stairs with no lift) or accessible rooms, are available in locations near Branksome (between Poole and Bournemouth, Dorset, UK).

My first session

I offer a 30 minute session for free remotely for us to assess whether I am the right counsellor for you,  we will go through some of the contractual paperwork and carry out an initial assessment to help me understand what it is you're coming to counselling for. If you would prefer this session to be face to face then a charge of £30 applies.
