About me and my therapy practice
Welcome to my profile. As an experienced and Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ accredited Therapist, I aim to provide a confidential, comfortable and trusting space where we explore issues that trouble you. With a background in HR, and conflict resolution, I understand the challenges that life can bring and how achieving a healthy work-life balance can be difficult. If you are involved in facing change, whether that be at work, in your relationships, following a bereavement or other loss, we can focus together on identifying what really matters to you and how you can work towards your goals and aspirations whilst overcoming hurdles along the way, be they from your past or aspects of your self that are currently limiting your ability to become who you truly want to be.
As well as supporting clients whose life is impacted by work or vice versa, my life experience and training has drawn me to counselling for loss and grief, for example when a loved one dies, living with ill-heath, or coming to terms with changes to independence in older age.
My mode of counselling is primarily person-centred. This means that you are at the heart of the therapy. The themes we explore are in your control and the approach we take is tailored to your individual needs. Sessions can be face2face in my therapy room (Salisbury SP1), online or by telephone. Whichever way we meet, my aim is to provide an environment in which we can develop a comfortable therapeutic relationship, enabling you to find solutions to your problems and to grow.
In addition to my work as an independent counsellor, I am an HR Consultant. In the past I have worked as a CAB Advisor, with CRUSE bereavement services and as a hospice and Cancer Centre Counsellor.
Thank you for reading my profile. Please do get in touch if you have any questions or would like to discuss availability for an initial session.
