About me and my therapy practice

Young people often internalise problems, a change in behaviour might be the only sign they are struggling. Counselling can help young people deal with feelings and events that impact on their mental health. I use a range of different approaches when working with young people including CBT strategies, psycho-education, play and creativity which I tailor to suit the needs of the client.

I offer a safe, non-judgemental space and conversations that enable my clients to make sense of things they are finding difficult. Counselling can help with anxiety, anger management, behaviour issues, body issues, depression, domestic violence, emotional abuse, exam stress, feeling sad, low mood, low self confidence, low self esteem, self-harm, difficulties with relationships, stress, trauma, this list is not exhaustive. I have worked with young people for over 10 years in various settings.

I am also able to offer EMDR to adults and teenagers online and in person.
