About me and my therapy practice
Training & Qualifications:
I am a professionally qualified integrative counsellor, supervisor and coach, qualifying with Worcester University with a BA Degree in Integrative Counselling. I have an OCST Diploma for counselling online, COSRT approved advanced certificate in couples therapy, Level 7 advanced diploma in counselling supervision, and a diploma as an ICF trained Integrative Coach.
I offer empathetic and non-judgemental therapeutic support to clients seeking counselling, supervision or coaching either face to face, online or by phone. I value each person as a unique individual, and recognise that the issues they bring are unique to them.
Being an integrative practitioner means I am able to draw from the main counselling approaches of Humanistic, Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural, as well as others. This means that together we are able to personally tailor therapy, supervision or coaching to your needs.
Practice description
So, "Why should you choose me as your counselling, supervisor or coaching practitioner?"
I work in a newly referburbished, warm and friendly private practice in Taunton. I offer empathetic and non-judgemental therapeutic support to clients seeking counselling, supervision or coaching, either face to face, online or by phone. I value each person as a unique individual, and recognise that the issues they bring are unique to them.
Having previously served 17 years as a police officer I have direct experience of an extensive range of life challenges that my clients may be facing, as well as working in an organisation where differing leadership styles, how staff members may relate with supervisors and colleagues, and the adversities of life can influence how clients may experience their employmet and/or their personal lives.
I have experience as a listening volunteer for a well know charity for people in crisis. And I have experienced the therapeutic benefits of creativity with a City & Guilds in sugar craft, free drawing, writing and other creative means.
My professional and personal experiences have provided me with a sound grounding to offer a professional, human, genuine, non judgmental and empathetic therapeutic support in a safe place.
I promise to be there for you every step of your journey. My goal is to "Help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward into your own sense of being for a better life to achieve the goals and ambitions that are important for you."
Entering counselling, supervision or coaching is not always easy. They each have different context, but each mean looking at every part of yourself and your perception of others and your world with curiosity, interest and compassion. If you are ready for your journey of opportunity and personal growth please contact me by email or phone, so we can arrange a suitable time to discuss and tailor your personal sessions for your individual needs.

My counselling background is working with adults, couples, students & counselling trainees
Practice description
My qualifications include; BA (Hons)Degree in Integrative Counselling, NCIP accredited Level 7 Advanced Diploma in counselling supervision, and the OCST Diploma for counselling online. I hold additional qualifications in relation to working with couples as well as being an ICF trained Integrative coach.
In addition to my counselling and supervision training, experience and qualifications, I previously served 17 years as a police officer. Within this role I was able to offer supervision and support to new police recruits as a Tutor Constable, but also having passed my promotion exams where I also gained experience supervising teams. My investigative experience as a detective also provided me with knowledge and experience with working ethically, and building case files for court.
