About me and my therapy practice
It can sometimes be helpful to talk through a problem with a professional counsellor in a confidential and safe environment.
Some people use counselling to change something specific in their lives or have a particular issue they want to resolve. Others have a sense of wanting to explore different aspects of themselves to better understand their feelings and actions.
Coming to counselling allows you space to talk and work out how you can make the changes you would like to see in your life. Many people find that the most helpful part of coming to counselling is being able to speak to someone who will listen without judging.
I value individual differences and see the collaborative relationship between client and counsellor as central to understanding, finding a way forward and increasing a sense of wellbeing.
I welcome clients from all backgrounds and offer a warm, supportive and flexible approach.
I’m an accredited member or the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ). I work in accordance with their ethical guidelines and professional standards for practice.
I’m trained in several therapeutic approaches, including Person Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.

About me and my therapy practice
I’ve been a qualified clinical supervisor working with individuals and groups for 23 years. I have been a counsellor for 28 years and recognise the importance connection, how we relate or what interrupts us relating to ourselves or with each other.
Supervision helps underpin the importance of the client and therapist relationship. It gives space to model, to experiment with new ideas and explore the dynamics of your therapeutic relationships. It enables therapists to work towards establishing and sustaining safe and effective relationships with others, also self-care as practitioners which is essential to health and well-being.
My approach is integrative and I draw on experience and understanding of theory to suit your unique needs. My priority is in maintaining the quality, safety and confidentiality of the supervisory relationship. To support you as a therapist to model the boundaries and good practice held within the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ ethical framework.
