About me and my therapy practice
I am currently offering in-person appointments in a large, socially distanced office.
Phone and online sessions also.
It can be really tough looking for a counsellor. Here you are at a very raw point in your life, struggling to make such an important choice with only profile pics and a few sentences to go on. It must feel so overwhelming. Stick with it, counselling can make a difference. Working together, you will find me to be robust and authentic. I will be actively engaged in our sessions, creating a warm, safe space where I can come to understand your world and the issues that bring you to counselling.
Whilst I have worked with a wide variety of issues, I focus on:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- The effects of a difficult childhood
- Relational issues
- Trauma
Struggling with mental health and emotional difficulties can affect us all in different in ways, withdrawing into ourselves, escaping into drugs or alcohol, if you've found your way to site like this then your trying to do something about it. This is itself an achievement. Though finding the right counsellor can be an overwhelming process it's worth sticking with.
Most counsellors would say the relationship is the most important aspect of working with a counsellor, and I agree. It's where the work gets done. As we develop trust, I'll support you in attempts to achieve your counselling goals. To challenge or accept yourself.

Relational therapy is for individuals. As a relational therapist I believe our relationships with others are hugely important. They make us who we are and affect how we behave. Not only that they help us heal and cope in difficult times. We will work together to understand the difficulties you are experiencing as well as the values, beliefs and patterns that make you who you are.
