About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I am a qualified Person Centred Counsellor and I am a Registered Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I have had the privilege to gain over 9 years of counselling experience, specialising in the provision of face to face counselling for both male and female survivors of adults abused in childhood. I find my work has a tremendously humbling impact on me and continues to inspire my practice.
I have a trauma informed approach to my work, which means that I always consider the complex and individual nature of each person within the potential impact of anything you may have lived through.
I offer a 1 hour assessment, designed to provide the space needed to get a feel for how we may work together, with no obligation. I aim to provide a calm, and relaxed environment where you may take the time you need to reflect on any thoughts or feelings, on any issues, that may be uncomfortable or overwhelming, without judgement, just counselling.
Please call or email for availability and to arrange an assessment. I offer face to face, telephone or online, short or long term counselling sessions, to individual adults only.
