About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified integrative counsellor, working with different therapeutic models depending on your needs and reasons for coming to therapy. I provide a gentle, non-judgmental space in which to reflect on and explore any difficulties you may be experiencing. This will involve looking at your past and how it is still impacting your present, such as in your relationships or any unhelpful patterns of behaviour, as well as working directly on current issues.
We would also aim to use the therapeutic relationship as a model to help understand how you relate to people and explore what may be contributing to problems with relating and intimacy in relationships.
I am experienced in working with eating disorders, addiction and compulsive behaviours, and bereavement.
Practice description
Please contact me to set up a call or an introductory meeting, or an initial session where we'll talk about what you hope to get from therapy and how it could work; if we're both happy to continue we would then arrange to meet weekly.
My first session
We might have a phone call prior to meeting to discuss what you’re wanting and what I can offer and timings.
I offer a 20-30minute introductory session (with no fee) to meet and get a sense of each other and talk in more depth. This isn’t necessary if not wanted though.
We will then meet for an initial session (full fee) when I’ll ask about you, how you are and what brings you to therapy, and talk a bit about how I work. We will see what comes up and then decide about working together.
What I can help with
Abuse, Addictions, Anger management, Bereavement, Depression, Eating disorders, Identity issues, Loss, Obsessions, OCD, Phobias, Relationships, Self esteem, Self-harm, Spirituality, Stress, Work related issues

About me and my therapy practice
I offer a gentle, non-judgemental space in which to reflect on and explore any difficulties you may be experiencing. My integrative, relational approach means we can work together to understand your needs and tailor the support to your personal requirements and experiences. This may involve looking at your past and how it is still impacting your present, such as in your relationships or any unhelpful behaviours, and may include cognitive and behavioural techniques if agreed this may be useful.
