About me and my therapy practice
My therapeutic approach is holistic, compassionate and creative.
I want you to feel not only safe and embraced but truly understood and emotionally held as we explore the rich tapestry of your life together. In our journey, I aim to deeply understand your thoughts, feelings, values, and beliefs, without judgement, acknowledging that each nuance contributes to the intricate mosaic of your experiences.
Your life is unique, and so are your experiences and your path of self-discovery.
Recognizing that our anxieties, traumas, and stresses often reside in our physical bodies, manifesting in physical symptoms such as headaches, fibromyalgia, or sheer exhaustion. By compassionately exploring the full spectrum of your emotions, and gently unwrapping the layers of your emotions, and working together we can unravel the complexities of what you feel and why.
In moments when individuals might feel unheard or even silenced, unsure of where to turn for support, you find yourself here, contemplating counselling, or a desire in some way to make transformative life changes.
Your decision to explore these possibilities speaks volumes.
Why consider working with me? Because, above all, I see my role as a guide to help you to find your voice, to be heard in a way that resonates with your unique journey. Using creative materials and thoughtful interventions such as sand tray, symbolism, exploring dreams and working with imagery and therapy cards, I’m committed to providing the support you need to discover and embrace your authentic self, a space where your unique experiences are honoured.
My passion is not just about understanding but also empowering you to move forward with a renewed sense of direction and positivity. Your journey matters, and my commitment is to accompany you with empathy and compassion as you navigate the path to self-discovery and growth.

About me and my therapy practice
I completed my supervisor training in 2019, specializing initially in Proctors Model and since then, I’ve been providing support to counsellors and therapists who are inclined towards integrating creative approaches into their counselling practices, whilst developing the CRAFTS Model Of Supervision.
With a background in Rape Crisis and seven years of running a private practice, I have extensive experience in offering one-on-one therapeutic support to clients. My expertise extends to supporting adults who have experienced trauma, including autistic and neuro-divergent clients, along with a focus on working with young people.
As the events and training lead for the Creative Counsellors, I have designed and delivered training programs that incorporate creative interventions into practice. Notably, our Ecotherapy and Walk-and-Talk Therapy training and our Creative Interventions Pathway. I have successfully delivered training programmes to various organisations including, MIND, Women’s Aid, Youth Workers, RASSAC and CASS
My diverse training includes certifications in Person-Centred Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Clinical Supervision, Somatic Trauma Therapy, Rewind Technique, Clay Therapy, Drawing and Talking, and EFT.
Driven by a passion for continuous personal and professional development, I actively seek opportunities to learn from others, enriching my knowledge to enhance the effectiveness of my therapeutic work.

Creativity: I integrate creative methods into my supervision process, to encourages thinking outside the box, giving depth, and exploring new perspectives, by using art mediums, imagery, colours, or other imaginative methods to enhance the therapeutic supervisory experience.
Reflective: Exploring what went well, what could have gone better? Together exploring the impact of the work ensuring the necessary psychological support and scaffolding required to support you.
Awareness: Working together increasing awareness around aspects of self, parallel process, transference, and countertransference. Including the client’s feelings, your responses, the relationship dynamics, and the broader systemic influences. Addressing any ethical and legal aspects.
Focused: Goal-oriented and purposeful, ensuring that we both focus on the main goal- making sure that the clients, are getting the best support. While supporting your development, learning, and helping you navigate tricky situations effectively.
Transformative: What are the transformations/key takeaways/learnings and maintaining professional standards. Fostering your autonomy increasing personal growth, skills development, and positive change, creating positive therapeutic change for clients through the process.
Systemic: Acknowledging the interconnectedness of individuals and surrounding environments. Exploring wider context, including social dynamics, ghosts, stakeholders, and various cultural influences.
This integrated creative model approach aims to provide not only reflective, educational, and culturally sensitive supervision but also a compassionate space that acknowledges the humanity in both your professional and personal experiences and offers a bespoke approach to supervision to meet your needs.
