I am a Person Centred therapist but have adapted my work to include creative counselling skills that can be productive when working with SEN clients & Young people.

I am currently working online from home conducting sessions via Zoom.

Home visits in the Warwickshire area can also be facilitated.

I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and as such attend monthly supervision and adhere to the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I hold Professional Indemnity and am on the register with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)

I hold a current enhanced DBS and am registered with the Government Update service.

Practice description

My aim as a counsellor is in helping and supporting you through providing a safe environment where you feel heard, accepted and able to explore your thoughts and feelings, working together to identify the issues which are causing you distress and looking at ways to ease them.

I have experience working:

RNIB Accredited Sight Loss Counsellor

Within a Disability Organisation, supporting Young People and families

A Bereavement Charity, both in 1-1 situations and group work.

Within a Hospice Charity, supporting patients, their families and facilitating group workshops.

Rape and Sexual abuse Charity supporting survivors and their families.

National Charity supporting Refugees, Asylum seekers & MND clients.

My first session

Following our first contact by email or phone, I will then send you a client user agreement which explains the various aspects of counselling. It also includes an opportunity for you to complete a personal assessment form and give a brief outline of the main concerns you wish to work on.

I offer at free 20 minute introductory session via Zoom to see if we would be a good fit for each other. Let me know if this is something you may be interested in.
