Availability

Hello,

I see clients from Monday to Friday, either in person or online.

Please email me, and we can arrange a brief preliminary telephone call (at no charge), during which you can ask me any questions about how I work and set up an initial session (there is no commitment to further sessions).

I look forward to hearing from you.

Many thanks, Lisa

About me and my therapy practice

Are you struggling with anxiety or depression, maybe trying to cope with a bereavement, the end of a relationship, embarking on a new life stage or feeling overwhelmed and stuck?

Life can be challenging, and I aim to provide a warm, welcoming and confidential space for you to take the time to acknowledge and reflect upon difficulties. I also recognise how our early childhood experiences can significantly affect our adult lives.

My focus is to support each client's unique exploration of their feelings, relationships, hopes and fears in the past and present so that they can find a pathway to the future.

I offer a caring and confidential space where we can work through anxieties and concerns together. It is a place to sit with difficult feelings, unpick the knots, soothe, and gain clarity.

Experience

Previously, I worked for the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity at the Herts & Essex Hospital, counselling patients with all types of cancer at all stages, throughout and after completion of their treatment and their carers.

I have also been a volunteer counsellor at the City & East London Bereavement Service in Tower Hamlets.

Training

Professional Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (Integrative), Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ accredited training at the Mary Ward Centre, London.

Practice description

I offer sessions daytime and evening, in person and online, from peaceful counselling rooms in Stroud Green (a 12-minute walk from Finsbury Park overground and underground stations).

My first session

In our first session, we will talk about what brings you to therapy and what support you are looking for.  It will be an informal chat, and I won't be sitting behind a desk or taking notes.  There is no commitment to further sessions.

Please email me, and we can arrange a brief preliminary telephone call (at no charge), during which you can ask me any questions you may have and I can let you know how I work.

All sessions last 50 minutes.

I look forward to hearing from you, Lisa
