About me and my therapy practice

The one thing you have that no one else has is you; your voice, your thoughts, your feelings and ultimately your story.

By combining my therapeutic models, I am able to provide a unique approach for each client which will help you to gain insight into your issues, thoughts and feelings, enabling you to make sense of you and your story and bring about change.

The therapy lies in the realationship between the client and counsellor, where trust and respect is developed and at the centre of each session, and is integral in the way I work.

I have experience working with adults and young people, helping with a wide range of issues. Therapy offered can be either short or long term at flexible times during the day and evening depending on the needs/requirements for each client. Locations are Crowthorne and Finchamstead.

At all times the client is at the heart of my therapy, concentrating on 'your truth' from initial consultation and throughout out our sessions.

You will always be met with a warm, empathetic welcome, and provided with a safe, non-judgemental environment to explore your issues and concerns and will always feel valued and heard.

My niche has developed overtime resulting in specialisit areas of working with young adults 11-25,, clients with chromic or long term illness such as Fibromyalgia and Cancer and finally infant and child death. I however work with many other issues, as listed under my profile and welcome the opportunity to discuss your needs.

Practice description

I offer Face to Face, online and walk and talk.

If a client is house bound I can offer home visits.

My first session

Making initial contact with a counsellor can be daunting. I offer a 20 minute call prior to booking a session. Which enables you to explain a little about why you are seeking counselling, ask any questions you may have and hear a little about how I work. Most importantly it gives us the opportunity  to see if I am the right counsellor for you.

If we decide to proceed our first session together  will be a chance for us to get to know each other in a relaxed none judgemental setting.

The therapy is in the relationship we will build, and that takes time.
