I offer a compassionate and confidential space where those who need support can feel safe to explore difficulties in their lives and their relationships in an environment that is non-judgmental and accepting.
I have extensive experience of in person face-to-face and online clinical practice, as well as experience within CAMHS (a mental health team for young people within the NHS). I also have experience of working within UK social care and in offering therapy in private practice to a wide variety of clients.
At this time I offer therapy exclusively online using a secure platform. Whether we use video or just voice is up to you although in my experience video can be helpful in getting to know one another better.
Practice description
I offer various forms of therapy such as DBT (dialectical behavioural therapy), CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), Person-Centred Therapy, Existential, Integrative Therapy and Humanistic Therapy as well as Sex Therapy.
I also offer parenting programmes and coaching if required.I have worked with a wide variety of people, supporting them through challenging times and helping them to express and understand their thoughts, feelings and behaviour better which can be a transformative experience.
I am able to adapt my knowledge of different theoretical approaches to meet my clients’ presenting issues. I'm not able to offer in person face to face sessions at this time but I do offer online therapy.
My first session
• 15 minute free initial phone call /online consultation
• After our initial consultation, if you would like to book some sessions with me, I will arrange for a first session to be held online via a platform such as Zoom or Google Meet which will be an opportunity for you to begin to explore any challenges or issues you would like help with. I will ask some questions to get to know you better, while you can form an idea of how I could help you and what the therapy will be like. We might agree to work together for a brief number of sessions or for a longer period of time per your decision, and these sessions are held for 50 minutes at a regular time every week.
