Monday to Thursday: 6-30pm to 10pm

About me and my therapy practice
I offer a counselling relationship within which you can feel safe and can explore whatever is causing you distress. With warmth, empathy, humour, and respect, I will help you to discover ways of living more resourcefully and authentically and will try to understand you and your experiences without being in any way judgemental. My foundation was in person centred therapy but I am much more eclectic in my therapy delivery currently
I have been practicing for the last 25 years and offer and number of interventions that suit, individuals such as. Person Centred Therapy, Solution brief therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Addictions therapy. I am proficient in Motivational Interviewing and tiem limited interventions.
My role is to empower clients to gain as much as they can out of sessions, so they address their issues and become self reliant and self sufficient
Practice description
My practice is strictly online. This consists of session 50 minutes in length with 10 minutes to debrief and review the session.In my 25 years of practice I have experience of supporting people with: Trauma, Abuse, Anxiety, Bereavement and loss, Career coaching, Cultural issues, Depression, Life coaching, Addictions, OCD, PTSD, Personal development, Phobias, Self-esteem, Stress, Long term trauma, Work related issues.
My main therapeutic interventions include; Person centred; Solution focused brief therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
Divisions I belong too, Children and Young people and families member, Private Practice. Adults, EAP, Trainees, Young People, and adolescents. Short and Long Term Online therapy.
I am a certified on line therapist and also a certified online supervisor.
My first session
At your first session, you will have an opportunity to explore and talk about what has brought you to counselling, ask questions about how the process works. What therapy is and what it isn't, and discuss any concerns you have. Confidentiality , safety and your security during following sessions and any risk and how, this may be limited in your sessions and signposting to the relevant emergency agencies to meet those identified risk as the first session. During this session and, if you choose to continue, in subsequent sessions, you will be encouraged to express your feelings and thoughts, explore the issues which are troubling you, and discover ways of living more resourcefully. The work you do will be about self-discovery and about finding solutions which are right for you, rather than receiving advice or being told what to do.

I am currently available for the hours of 6pm to 10pm
Mon,Wed,thurs,fri: 6pm to 10pm
Tue: 8pm to 10pm
Saturday 8am till 3pm, but can negotiate this.
I am unavailable on Sundays.
I can provide home visits in the Liverpool area only, but not beyond.
I can provide, and am certified to provide online supervision sessions.
I can also provide face to face but only in the Liverpool Area.
I am currently on the Edge Hill University register for a number Masters Students courses and the Masters in Children's and young persons register.
I can provide a 50 hour and 100 hours reports. I also provide supervisor reports for Accreditation purposes and for other course placements if needed but supervisees.
I have 15 years experience of providing supervision and I am fully certified both face to face and online.
I have over 28 years of experience of working with young people 25 of those specifically in the counselling field.
I am currently on the last leg of my training in EMDR and will qualify in November.
I do offer £70 per 1.5 sessions but the above box does not allow for 1.5 supervision sessions. notification?
Initial consultation is free up to 15 minute meeting, to discuss what is needed and agree contractual considerations.
About me and my therapy practice
I have been a person centred counsellor for the past 26 Years, but can work intergratively. I am qualified at Diploma and advanced level. Level 5 in CBT. I also have a level 4 Diploma In clinical Case Work Supervision ABC. I am Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ Accredited counsellor. I keep my CPD updated at regular intervals. I have counselled people of differing ages and from differing disciplines and the diverse communities.
I am currently on the Edge Hill University student register. Counselling and Supervising Degree and Masters and also Young Persons masters degree BA, BSC, MSC and MSC Counselling and Psychotherapy-Creative Contemporary Approaches.
I have a level 4 Diploma in case work supervision and Supervise Counsellors at the Liverpool Bereavement Services. I was a joint trainer for the Jean Little Agency providing training in psychodynamic counselling at foundation level and at Diploma Level, which ended due to funding cuts.
I have a lot of experience in the following issues, in the last 26 years: Self harm, depression, psychosis. Negative self-concept, gender identity, LGBTQIA, anger. I have worked closely with, CAMHS, Early Interventions Psychosis Teams, YPAS MYA and multiple agencies in connection with support for young people in our community.

Practice description
I provide the seven eyed model in supervision and I am a certified supervisor in both face to face and on line, with 15 years of supervisory experience.
I work very collaboratively with supervisees and have extensive knowledge of working with both fully qualified supervisees and trainee/student counsellors.
I have a good understanding of the Iaptus system, ROMS and also HEI, led courses.
I will work with you, and support your journey, and will consult with you about issues arising and prepare you for your 50m hour and 100 hours reports. I will also prepare counsellors/therapist with their Accreditation reports and applications in line with Scoped.
I have also provided reports for other course and recommendations form other organisations.
As stated above I have 26 years of counselling skills and 15 years of Supervisory skills.
I have worked in the Statutory and Third Sector for many years and also worker quite closely with placement providers and was once a trainer with the Jean Little agency.
I currently work very closely with Alder Hey Children's Hospital, as a therapist and in the past worked very closely in providing a alcohol clinic for young people here in Liverpool
My first session
I have a pre meeting session with perspective supervisees free of charge for up to 30 minutes to discuss supervision and to explore the contract and ways of working. This however tends to be an online process but can meet face to face if needs be. Discussion about any diverse needs that will need to be considered.
The official supervision session generally covers the finalisation of the contract and any amendments that may be needed. Discussing the supervisory process and discussion of presentation of clients, any university, placement documentations or reports monitoring sheets and if ready presentation of client work.
Any placement issue or concerns. expected hours and supervision requirements in line with Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ, CPCAB, BABCP. Any queries concerning expectations for counselling placement agreements and possible three way meetings if required. Relationship building and exploration of process and ethical requirements and considerations and then development of that counsellor/Therapist and future developments and exploration of issues that may arise.
Discussion about if things go wrong and procedures if this ever does.
