About me and my therapy practice
Are you wondering if counselling could be helpful to you and how to choose a counsellor?
I am experienced in working with a wide range of concerns and issues including; cancer; bereavement, loss and grief; miscarriage, stillbirth and baby loss; anxiety during pregnancy; family and relationship difficulties; anxiety; depression; and low self-esteem.
I offer a safe, confidential space for you to talk and as a counsellor I will listen to you to understand your difficulties in an empathetic, sensitive and non-judgmental way. You can choose what you would like to talk about, as it is the worries or difficulties that matter to you which are important. We can explore your thoughts and feelings at the pace you choose.
It is important you feel comfortable to talk to me so the first session gives you the opportunity to meet me, discuss how counselling may help you and decide if I am the right counsellor for you.
You do not have to commit to a number of sessions as this will depend on your individual concerns and your reasons for seeking counselling. The frequency and the progress of counselling sessions will be reviewed regularly.
I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist and a registered member of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ. I adhere to their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions. I have a BA (Hons) degree in Person-centred Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Warwick.
Please contact me if you have any questions or would like to arrange an appointment.
