Availability

I offer face to face sessions at my practice in Ealing / West Acton. It is easily reachable by public transport; there is also free parking. I also offer video calls. I have a Covid policy as detailed below. I am an approved provider for BUPA, Aviva and AXA Health.

About me and my therapy practice

If you would like help to cope with difficult emotions, I can provide a calm, confidential space for you to feel heard and understood. I specialise in women’s health problems, including fertility issues and miscarriage. I also work with depression, anxiety, bereavement and trauma.

I offer an initial phone conversation, which is free of charge, then an assessment session which is chargeable but there is no obligation to continue. We would then agree a number of sessions (usually around 8) with a specific focus. During this time we can review whether you think longer term work would be helpful.

I am a fully qualified and Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ accredited counsellor and psychotherapist. In addition to my private practice, I have worked in the NHS Adult Mental Health service and at a fertility clinic on Harley Street. I am a member of the British Infertility Counselling Association and have specific training in fertility counselling.

Practice description

I have been a practising counsellor in Ealing for the past 7 years both privately and for the NHS. I am committed to providing counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. I am an approved provider for BUPA, Aviva and AXA Health.

Covid Policy: There is no need to wear a mask but we will keep a social distance. Please bring hand sanitiser and your own tissues if possible. There is ventilation; heaters will be on but please dress warmly in cold weather.

If you have any Covid symptoms or need to isolate on the day then please let me know and we can use Zoom if you feel well enough, otherwise you can cancel with no charge.

If you have been in contact with others who may have Covid then please can you do a lateral flow test (using a home testing kit) before you come. As these are longer available free of charge then please use your own judgement regarding level of risk.

My first session

Before the first session I will ask you to complete a questionnaire that measures Anxiety and Depression. I have a standard agreement which I will send to you in advance which outlines the way I work. In the first session I will ask questions to get a full picture of your situation and background, whereas you can take the lead in ongoing sessions. The rate and length of session is the same (50 minutes).
