About me and my therapy practice

Hi I am James and my aim is to help you actually live and be able to enjoy life. I have over twelve years of successful counselling experience. I know its a big step, it takes courage but at certain times in our life we need help. I have given support to many clients with a wide range of difficulties. Such as anxiety, depression, anger, grief, OCD, relationships issues and trauma.

Are you experiencing any of these-

  • mind racing, worrying or obsessing about things
  • panic, nightmares
  • feeling overwhelmed
  • lack of motivation, energy, direction
  • Negative thought, critical inner voice
  • relationships and family issues
  • fear of going out or doing anything
  • loss of a loved one
  • work place bullying, changes
  • sexual and sexuality issues

I will listen carefully in a non-judgmental manner and within a safe environment, in order to trace the links between your past experiences and your current situation. This process will help you to understand your present dilemma and I will show you various tools to increase your personal growth and development. To increase your sense of personal choice and to help you achieve a richer sense of connection with yourself and others.

Please see the reviews on my web site.

My first session

As I have said I know its a big step and most clients are surprised how they are able to relax and talk. The first session is an assessment to find out how I may help and if we can actually work together to make changes.  Its an assessment to find out what is happening today.
