About me and my therapy practice
I work only in private practice now although my experience has included working as a therapist within the NHS and the Roehampton Priory Hospital. I have also worked as a Case Manager & Team Leader for Bupa Psychological Services. My earlier life was spent in the business sector but I retrained and have been working as a psychotherapist for about 20 years.
I come from a psychodynamic training which means that I work with the knowledge that our experiences throughout life have an impact on who we are today and how we manage our difficulties. However, I have done further training in CBT and so use some CBT skills in working with people for whom that is appropriate.
Practice description
I offer sessions in my consulting room in Kingston upon Thames, or telephone or video (Zoom, FaceTime) counselling.
