About me and my therapy practice
Do you find yourself feeling overwhelmed and distressed but don't understand why? Or maybe you do but feel that you are out of your depth and need help in finding your way again. Whatever your reasons are for looking for a therapist it's important to decide on the right one for you so here is some information about me that you might find useful whilst making your decision.
I have been working as a therapist for over 20 years and offer a compassionate non-judgemental space where you can explore your feelings, understand your struggles and work towards feeling like you are back in control. It is really important for you to feel safe when we are working together so I will provide a space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions without judgment. Whether you're seeking clarity, healing or personal growth I will create a nurturing space where you can feel secure, valued and understood.
I work either long or short term using different approaches depending on your needs and preferences. I specialise in working with the inner child as this part which is present in all of us can often be the root cause of difficult feelings and behaviours which we find difficult to manage or stop due to unresolved childhood trauma/s which can range from not having our needs met to something bigger such as abuse or abandonment. I use different approaches to help you get in touch with this part of you and more importantly support you whilst you are on your journey of self discovery and healing.
For more information and testimonials from previous clients please have a browse through my website where you can find more information about me and the way I work.
Practice description
Alongside providing therapy at my practice I provide outdoor nature therapy where we walk outside together which can feel like a less intense experience for some and can be really effective in working through issues whilst being in the natural world and understanding your own unique connection with nature. We can walk along the coastal path or if preferred through a local park which is home to a variety of settings such as woodland or open spaces. If the weather takes a turn for the worst and you would prefer the odd session inside this is fine too.
Studies have shown that time in nature can lower blood pressure and stress hormone levels, reduce nervous system arousal, enhance immune system function, increase self-esteem, reduce anxiety, and improve mood.
My first session
Your first session will involve me finding out about what you would like to gain from therapy and address any questions/concerns you may have. We will consider safety aspects of working outside if you choose nature therapy and how therapy will work when coming into contact with the outdoors.
I offer an intial complementary 15 minute zoom call which will give you the chance to meet me and ask any questions before committing to a paid session.

About me and my therapy practice
Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ
As a Clinical Supervisor with over 8 years experience & over 20 years working as a therapist I provide guidance and support to therapists, mental health professionals and organisations to ensure ethical, effective and compassionate care. I have been actively supervising individuals and teams across various settings, including my ongoing work with Mind (Brixton, London) since 2016.
Practice description
As a supervisor I believe it is important for me to understand your needs as a therapist and to develop a relationship with you which enables you to feel safe enough to be open and honest about how you are working with clients and the challenges you might be facing. Clients can bring up all kinds of emotions in us as therapists and can at times be quite triggering which makes supervision a really vital part of the process. I will work with you from an open and non judgmental place encouraging you to be curious about what each client is bringing up for you and how to work effectively with this and to understand what this is telling you about the client.
I currently work with individual therapists in my private practice and have been a supervisor for South East London Mind since 2016 where I supervise trainee therapists in a group setting, helping them to navigate clients who often have high complex needs.
I have also worked with Carers Lewisham supervising trainee therapists in a group setting.
Whether you're seeking individual, group supervision or organisational support I am here to offer a thoughtful, supportive space where we can explore challenges, celebrate successes and enhance your practice.
Feel free to reach out if you're looking for supervision that combines experience, insight and a commitment to your professional development.
My first session
Your first session will involve us getting to know each other and to discuss your supervision needs as well as thinking through any individual cases or challenges you might need help with.
I also welcome you to bring any personal or professional development enquiries such as courses you might be interested in which we can explore together.
