About me and my therapy practice
The aim of my therapy practice is to provide an opportunity for you to work towards living in ways that you experience as more fulfilling and satisfying and to facilitate you in looking after your emotional health.
I believe that in addition to what we are conscious of, there are aspects of ourselves that we are less conscious of and that this has an impact on us and our capacity to engage and enjoy relationships and life in general. Psychoanalytic work aims to understand these aspects, think about obstacles and helps the person to feel relieved of distress, develop and grow.
I have experience in working with clients who have lived through very difficult experiences and mental health issues as well as clients who want a space to reflect on for example creative processes, making important decisions, relationship issues and explore choice.
Along with my private practice I have many years' experience of working psychotherapeutically within not-for-profit organisations such as ‘The Medical Foundation for the care of victims of torture and organised violence’, staff support in both public and private sector organisations.
I have also run /worked in student counselling services at the University of Bedfordshire, the Royal College of Art, the Courtauld Institute of Art and the London School of Economics and Political Science.
My practice is located in N2 / N10 with free parking available. The nearest underground station is East Finchley on the Northern line with easy access from Muswell Hill and surrounding areas.
I am registered with a number of private medical insurers.
