About me and my therapy practice

Finding a counsellor can be overwhelming. Research has shown however that your relationship with your counsellor has a huge impact on the success of therapy, so I would recommend contacting counsellors you feel you could trust and develop a relationship with. For this reason I offer a free initial discovery session.

I am trained in Integrative counselling - which means I can draw on a variety of approaches depending on the needs of my client, sort of like a therapeutic toolbox!

Practice description

Whatever your presenting concern, I provide a confidential, safe online space for you to reflect on your goals and explore areas that you want to address to move forward in life in a more fulfilling way.

I am experienced in dealing with anxiety and depression, which may be a product of unresolved issues in the past, or triggered by more recent experiences such as bereavement, menopause, family dynamics, change of career or relationship breakdown.

I am also experienced in working with individuals who have either had a diagnosis of ADHD or autism or suspect they may be neurodivergent and wish to explore this.

If you are struggling, you may experience outbursts of anger, low mood, anxiety or mood swings and counselling can provide a valuable opportunity to talk and reflect on these issues and explore a way forward.

My first session

Your free initial consultation is an opportunity for us to meet and discuss your needs, goals and expectations, and during this time we can explore together the best way forward.

Initial consultations are via zoom or on the phone and can last up to 30 minutes. Subsequent sessions (also via zoom or phone) are 50minutes
