About me and my therapy practice
Welcome to my counselling page. It takes great courage to ask for help.
I am a person- centred counsellor. I pride myself in being personable and relaxed but I am not afraid to challenge kindly.
Please get in touch for support. I offer guidance, feedback and validation. It is my wish to increase your insight & awareness in order for you to, make positive changes, accept those tricky parts of yourself and treat yourself with more compassion.
Clients feedback that I am professional, supportive & patient, and their sessions have not ONLY benefitted them, but also their relationship, friendships and children.

Practice description
Online sessions offered currently either over zoom (video) or telephone.
Face to face sessions offered daytime and early evening.
I am a therapist working living and working in Exeter. I can be flexible with times and days around you, childcare and work patterns. Some Saturday mornings also.
Whether it is long term sessions or solution focus brief therapy (SFBT) please get in touch.
My first session
Our first session will be a chance to meet and get to know each other.
You can ask questions and get a feel for what our journey will take. You may have clear ideas of the focus or what you want, or it may just feel like you need a shift, or impartial listening ear.
It is natural for the focus of the therapy to shift once you feel more at ease and your awareness and insight grows. It is totally okay to bring different worries depending on the current challenges you are facing.
I offer a non judgemental space where you can 'just be', verbalise and share your worries and feelings to an impartial person.
We will discuss safety and confidentially and I will help to answer any questions or fears you may have.
Sessions can be arranged for the same time and day each week or more ad hoc if this is suitable. I can also work on a fortnightly basis, as some clients prefer this due to financial reasons or other commitments. I look forward to working together.
