About me and my therapy practice
Welcome
Are you experiencing feelings of anxiety or depression that are causing you to have low self-esteem or decreased confidence?
Or you may be feeling overwhelmed, sad, or empty, which can lead to a sense of being lost and uncertain about the meaning and purpose of life.
It takes courage to seek help and support when dealing with difficult feelings.
The therapeutic relationship is a safe space where you can be understood and explore your thoughts, feelings, and sensations.
When you have a safe space to explore and be heard without judgment, it can help you to make sense of what is happening.
My work has predominantly wholeheartedly embraced the importance of continual training and personal development, understanding that the journey of growth is often shaped by our individual life experiences and our commitment to self-reflection which I continue to participate in.
Practice description
My training is in Psychotherapeutic Therapy, which is an integrative model underpinned by Person-Centered.
I also incorporate my Coaching and Mindfulness training, which have been significant parts of my life for many years.
I believe there are many ways to help someone. The relationship between the client and the counsellor is an important factor for change to take place.
Being heard and feeling unconditionally accepted can help you uncover and share your deepest concerns.
My experience includes working with clients who have:
Anxiety
Depression
Feeling Overwhelmed
Suffered abuse
Feelings of anger
Low self-esteem
Struggling with relationships with themselves and others including family
Loss and bereavement
Difficulty managing change (employment, relationships or something else)
Limiting beliefs
Stress
Self-harm
OCD
Not feeling good enough
I provide a blended approach that combines counselling, coaching, and mindfulness techniques. This methodology is designed to enhance self-awareness, allowing individuals to better understand their thoughts and feelings. By gaining this insight, you can implement positive changes in your life, ultimately leading to greater satisfaction and a sense of peace.
My first session
The first session will start with a consultation where we can discuss any concerns or expectations you may have about therapy.
To start, I suggest weekly appointments if possible. This can help you understand the work. I am also happy to follow whatever you feel is right for you.
Sessions are 60 min
