About me and my therapy practice
I can offer a safe space, where we can think together more deeply about your presenting problems; and give a voice to your important feelings with self-compassion in mind. I will endeavour to work with your resilience that you may not know you have.
I am a psychodynamic counsellor/psychotherapist, trained at WPF therapy and qualified in 2011, and received integrative Supervision Diploma at Minster in 2024. Currently, I am on a year course of Somatic Trauma Therapy at Cambridge Body Psychotherapy Centre. I have extensive experiences of working with diverse age and ethnic groups, from primary school children to older people in various organisations such as Place2Be, NHS, Age UK Camden, Wimbledon Guild, Connect:North Korea as well as in private practice. Having worked therapeutically with refugees for many years has also helped me to engage more creatively with and to respect the strength of my clients.
In terms of group work, I completed a course ‘Working with and Facilitating Groups’ at Tavistock training in 2022 and ran a therapeutic coaching group for university students. Currently, I supervise a group of trainee counsellors at Barnet Bereavement Counselling Service. I am also available to offer supervision to counsellors and therapists individually as well as in a group setting. I have BA in Theology (1997), MA in Philosophy of Art (2001), and MA in Jungian and Post jungian studies (2004).

Confidentiality
I have a legal and ethical duty of confidentiality to you which I regard as a central aspect of our work together. I won’t disclose any information about you or our work with others, except in the following circumstances:
I discuss my work with a private supervisor and training supervisor, which will be anonymised, and therefore should not represent a sharing of personal information. I will have to break your or your client’s confidentiality if there is any safeguarding concern to protect you and your client.
Incapacitation
It is possible, though very unlikely, that there might be an occasion when I’m unexpectedly unable to continue our work together, or contact you about this. In this circumstance, I have made provision that a named colleague will, at that point only, be able to access your contact details so that you can be notified and given appropriate assistance.
Fees and payment
I invoice for sessions at the end of each month. As payment is in arrears I appreciate prompt payment within a week of invoice date. Fees are payable by direct BACS transfer.
I charge for all missed and cancelled sessions, where I have received less than a week notice.
My first session
It will be an exploratory assessment meeting, where we will have a chance to get to know each other to see if we can work together; I will answer your questions about counselling/psychotherapy I can offer; you will be also asked questions for me to understand what has brought you, your expectations and why now.
If we decide to work together, we will agree on the contracts that will keep us safe and secure in our journey.

About me and my therapy practice
As a supervisor, I like to offer a containing space where we can think together and therapeutically about your clients, your emotional responses to your clients, safeguarding role, and managing practice in times of personal difficulty. I am happy to work with counsellors/therapists with a different modality while I can support to integrate psychodynamic thinking into your practice.
The fee will be £70 for an individual and 50 minuets or £55 for a group of two and 80 minutes (a different arrangement can be discussed).
I am a psychodynamic therapist, trained at WPF therapy and qualified in 2011 (www.wpf.org.uk), and completed supervision training at Minster Centre (www.minstercentre.ac.uk) in 2023. I have extensive experiences of working with diverse age and ethnic groups as a counsellor and therapist, from primary school children to pensioners in various organisations such as Place2Be, NHS, Age UK Camden, Wimbledon Guild as well as in private practice. Currently, I am a supervisor at Barnet Bereavement Counselling Service.
Education
I have received BA in Theology, MA in Philosophy of Art, MA in Jungian and Post jungian studies, and PgDip in Psychodynamic theory and practice.
I have completed a course ‘Working with and Facilitating Groups’ at Tavistock training in 2022 and run a therapeutic coaching group for university students in the same year.
I am also on 'Somatic Trauma Therapy' course at Cambridge Body Psychotherapy Centre, due to be completed in 2025.
If you are interested, please, contact me. I can share an article of a case study I have written recently so that you can have a better sense of how I may work as a therapist as well.
Practice description
As a supervisor, I have worked with a wellbeing and safeguarding professional and therapists/counsellors. Currently, I am working as a mental health specialist mentor for universities (www.umo.services) and as a lead psychotherapist at CNK (www.connectnorthkorea.org). I am interested in music and community activities as therapeutic engagement.
