About me and my therapy practice
One of the most important things that I can do is to provide my clients with a safe space; one where you can explore your past, present and future, whilst knowing that I will not criticise you or think badly of you. All my years of experience and qualifications help to make this happen.
Starting work as a therapist in 1992, I have many years of counselling experience, which includes working in the NHS, charitable sector, education and private practice. This has been with a range of clients including those of different ages, genders, sexualities, ethnicities and abilities and disabilities.
Clients that I have worked with have brought a range of issues including loss and bereavement, mental-health challenges, anger, anxiety, depression, self-esteem and those related to sexuality. Some people wanted to develop their self-awareness and asked me to support their self-exploration.
I provide individual, couple and group therapy, supervision and an accredited mediation service. My qualifications include, MA in Art Psychotherapy (HCPC registered no AS15004 - see https://www.hcpc-uk.org), Post Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy, Diploma in Counselling, Diploma in Individual & Group Clinical Supervision, Certificate in Health Counselling, National Certificate in Work Place Mediation. Accredited memberships include British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ), British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT) and the Health & Care Professional Council (HCPC).
Additional to my private practice, my current employment includes supervisor, tutor in counselling and faculty member for colleges in the London area including the Gestalt Centre London.
