I have worked in the counselling field for twenty years . I provide Low cost counselling, face to face and telephone counselling. I have extensive experience of working with issues such as Abuse, Addictions,Christian counselling, Cultural issues, General Counselling, Loss, Personal Development, Self Esteem, Spirituality, Trauma, Womens Issues.

I  provide telephone Counselling  as I have discovered that clients can find it more relaxing to work from the privacy of their own suroundings.  I hold traditional therapeutic sessions where I will support you to discuss ,explore issues , feelings and emotions in a safe environment .

I work from a Person Centered perspective.  The main objective is that  with  the right therapeutic conditions you can reach your full potential and become your true / real self.

The first session consists of an assessment of your needs, focusing on the issues that have  lead you to Counselling . The assessment  also includes   taking  your details , your GP contact details for safeguarding purposes etc.  Nothing  will be disclosed without your consent, or without your knowledge.

We will compile a contractual agreement pertaining to  the number , time ,length of sessions,  the frequency of the sessions  and payment etc and a confidentiality statement / agreement.

The purpose of this session is to focus on what you want to gain from accessing Counselling and whether you feel comfortable and safe in the therapeutic environment.
