About me and my therapy practice
Compassionate support in a welcoming and inclusive setting where you can safely explore whatever is causing you concern with an experienced, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ senior accredited therapist.
My approach is respectful, warm and non-judgemental, and is tailored to your unique needs. I will support you to share whatever you need to, at a pace to suit you, to deepen understanding of your individual experience and find ways of making your feelings and thoughts more manageable. Together we can look at the choices you have in relation to the changes you want to make, in the hope of leading to a happier, more meaningful or fulfilling life.
I welcome contact from you.
Practice description
I currently offer sessions over the telephone and online video link. I am experienced at distance counselling and can guide you to set up an appropriate space to access therapy in this way and maintain your privacy.
My first session
I welcome contact from you, even if you would simply like to talk through whether you feel counselling might help you. I offer one free introductory consultation (up to 25 minutes) over the telephone.
This initial session will give you the chance to tell me what has prompted you to seek support at this time, and to ask any questions you may have about counselling with me. It is also an opportunity for you to get a feel for what it is like to talk with me to help you decide if you would like further sessions. I will listen to what you hope to get from counselling and together we will discuss how to best meet your needs. This may include discussing the length and frequency of sessions as well as how you might want contact. I am flexible about all these things so as to find a way to support you that fits with your life.
Many clients report a sense of feeling 'lighter' after their first session and sharing with someone else whatever has brought them to counselling.
If you would like a longer initial session of 50 minutes this is also possible, usual session fee applies.

I welcome contact from you.
About me and my therapy practice
I offer supervision to therapists working in a variety of work settings, from a range of theoretical orientations and at different levels of experience. I supervise therapists who practice online, in-person, using walk and talk therapy and working over the telephone.
My approach to supervision is humanistic-integrative and emphasises the support role of supervision. I hope to offer you an open, reflective space where we can be creative in our approach and develop a collaborative relationship which makes it feel possible for you to bring all aspects of your work for further reflection.
I am passionate about the value of quality supervision to support therapist well-being and aim to offer a relationship which influences your personal and professional development and enables you to support your clients in a way which feels purposeful, ethical and rewarding.
I am a Tutor at York St John University, where I facilitate group supervision with students on the Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling.
I hold a Diploma in Supervision of Individuals and Groups, accredited by the National Council of Psychotherapists (NCP). This integrative training equipped me to support professionals working from a broad range of theoretical orientations - including Existential, Gestalt, CBT, TA, Somatic, Psychodynamic.
Practice description
I am flexible in how we conduct supervision and I am equally comfortable working over video call and the telephone as in- person.
I work with groups of practitioners as well as individuals – please get in touch for further information.
I also offer walk talk supervision and am open to discussing this further if this is something you may be interested in.
My first session
I welcome contact from you if you would like to set up an informal conversation about the possibility of working together and to discuss your supervisory needs. I invite you to ask anything which may feel helpful to support you to decide if we would be a good 'fit' for a supervisory relationship and so you can get a feel for what it is like to talk with me.
