About me and my therapy practice
Counselling and Coaching for Individuals in person, online, telephone and instant messaging. Call, email, text or Whatsapp for a no obligation chat.
Hello, I'm Sarah and welcome to Sarah Lemiech Counselling and Coaching.
I am an integrative counsellor, psychotherapist and therapeutic coach. As an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, rather than staying with one model of counselling, I use a combination of models and approaches from different theories. I trained as an integrative therapist as I believe this means I can tailor your therapy to your specific needs. Together we can explore and reflect upon what you feel needs to change in your life. Together we can look at alternative ways of managing these thoughts, feelings and emotions, leading to greater self-knowledge and understanding of relationships not just with others, but importantly with yourself. Coming to counselling will be a rewarding and life changing experience, and I am always happy to discuss my approach and answer any questions you may have.
As a therapeutic coach I will give you the opportunity for unique and individual support to navigate any life changes you want to make, by supporting you to develop the tools and skills to gain a fresh, new mindset on what you want for you. The focus of coaching is change and action by increasing self-awareness and leveraging your personal strengths to take this action.
To give a distinction between counselling and coaching, it can be said as a counsellor and psychotherapist I work with you on the "why" of a problem, and as a coach on the "how" to get out of the problem.
Fees Counselling and Coaching:

Practice description
I have worked as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist for the last 13 years, 7 years of those being my own private practice, and more recently as a Therapeutic Coach. My knowledge and skills have developed through my work in my private practice, as a bereavement counsellor and as a counsellor working with clients with physical disabilities. For me, there is always something new to learn from every client I meet and work with. I also have a commitment to regular on-going professional development and clinical supervision every month.
My first session
Coming into counselling or coaching can feel strange and anxiety provoking. But the aim for me in our first session together is to help you to feel at ease, and feel that yes, this is something I can and do want to do with Sarah. I can make the changes I want for myself.
When we meet for the first time, one of the first things we will do together is to go through my written contract. This is not with the expectation that you will wish to continue your counselling after our first session together, but this is very important so that you the client, have a clear idea of what it is I, the therapist or coach can offer you. This also gives you the opportunity to ask any questions that may arise to help you make your decision.
