About me and my therapy practice

I hold a BPS Approved Certificate in Clinical Supervision. I aim to offer a warm, non-judgemental environment where supervisees can safely bring their successes as well as their worries and confusion. I offer a coaching approach to supervision within a framework covering the three key areas of:

  • working structures
  • emotional support
  • skills development.
I recognise that each supervisee will need to focus on different aspects related to their professional development at different times.

Practice description

I have nearly 20 years of experience of providing counselling, therapy, support and supervision. There has been much enjoyment and fulfilment along the way when it has been a great priviledge to journey with people and try to provide the best I can for each person. There have also been many learning experiences involving building client relationships, managing boundaries and expectations, assessing risk, assessing the various safeguarding and ethical frameworks which have all been challenging. In this respect, the supervision I have received has been vital. All this learning informs the supervision I now offer.
