About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I am a fully qualified Gestalt Psychotherapist with over 12 years experience of working with clients and the founder of the London Practice. The therapeutic approach I trained in is called Gestalt therapy, a humanistic approach, which explores our present experiences in order to better understand the various coping mechanisms we have learned over time, and which may need to be 'updated' as they can sometimes get in our own way.
By becoming more aware of how we are contributing to our current situation, relationships and problems, and accepting ourselves more fully as we are now, we become more choiceful and able to change.
I try to meet you from one human being to another, rather than treat or analyse you in a medical sense. I will work slightly differently with each client -what you will get is me, in relation to you and what you bring, rather than a fixed approach or school of thought.
I work with a focus on creative ways of coming to new insights and actionable practices for you to get the most out of your therapy process. The best way you can contribute to this yourself is by sharing as openly and honestly your thoughts, feelings, doubts, fears, hopes or reservations toward me, the therapeutic process and anything that we discuss.
You can read more about what kind of themes people have found my work helpful for on my website under 'Coming For Therapy'.
Practice description
I have been working with adults as well as young people and children, both in private practice, schools and within the NHS in London since 2020.In addition to my training as Psychotherapist at the Metanoia Institute, I have training in Systemic Couples Counselling and Constellations for Teams and Groups, Coaching for Organisations and am trained as a Relational Supervisor.
Having grown up in Germany, studied and worked in England, and spent several years working in Spain, I speak German, English and Spanish fluently. I offer therapy and coaching only in German or English, but you or your partner can also speak to me in Spanish.
I currently work exclusively online via Zoom with UK clients.
My first session
We will initially book an exploratory session (via Zoom), to talk about your reasons for coming to see me, hopes for therapy and how we might work together and/or if another path or approach is better suited for you.
Should we decide not to work together for any reason after this session, it will not be charged. Otherwise it will be charged as our first session.
The fee for a 50-minute individual session is £85.
For couple's counselling the process is slightly different, please email me, including your partners name and email address, and I will let you both know what the next steps would look like, so you can decide together.
The fee for a 90-minute couple’s session is £145.

About me and my therapy practice
I offer relational supervision for therapist, coaches, anyone leading a team or working in a one-to-one supporting role, online via Zoom.
I have a particular interest in supporting newly qualified therapists and coaches in the early stages of their private practice and developing their own professional style and identity.
I also enjoy supporting managers and leaders, who themselves support people in a one-to-one setting or run small groups, in finding a different perspective within their organisation and to understand their own role and relationships dynamics.
Practice description
Why supervision?
Many therapists and coaches enjoy learning from a variety of approaches, and my supervision, while grounded in my Gestalt therapy training, also includes systemic thinking, influences from existential and spiritual practices as well as a focus on embodied experience.
My approach
Rather than from one fixed school of thought, my supervision approach is relational, which means the focus of our work will be on exploring and better making sense of what might be happening between you and your client, and how this is affected by the wider context for both of you. We will also apply the same lense to our supervision work together, aiming to find new possibilities where stuck or learn new things about yourself through these relationships.
Fees
The fee for a 60-minute individual supervision session is £85, they can be arranged flexibly. If you are interested in (online) group supervision, please let me know. Once a group of 2-3 people has formed, we can discuss the length/frequency of the sessions and fees per person.
Please visit my website for more information. My first session
During our first session, we will talk about the requirements and needs you have for supervision, your previous experiences as well as practical details and our understanding of how we might work together, to see if we are a suitable 'fit'.
In supervision we can work together e.g. on topics like:
- how to grow your practice and finding your ‘niche’
- adapting safely and ethically to various contexts (agencies, short-term work, businesses)
- practical issues such as marketing, rooms, insurance, data protection
- your feelings about money, charging fees, and making the transition from unpaid work
- self-confidence and 'not feeling ready'
- how to incorporate creative experiments into your existing approach
- explore counter-transference and difficult feelings that arise in your work
- identifying your strengths, vulnerabilities and growing edges
- managing risk and boosting your self-support
- developing your own style - incorporating new approaches or letting go of old ones
