We鈥檒l be championing the benefits of counselling in the workplace at the UK鈥檚 largest event dedicated to employee health, wellbeing and safety.

takes place on March 15 and 16 at Birmingham鈥檚 NEC, with thousands of employers and organisational representatives due to attend.

We鈥檙e sponsoring the event and have an exhibition stand hosted by staff and members of our 香港六合彩精准资料 Workplace Division.

We also have several speakers who鈥檒l highlight the role of workplace counselling and its benefits during their presentations.

We鈥檙e there to promote the value of counselling and showcase the competence of our members.

Kris will be speaking on听Supporting the Mental Health Crisis in Farming at 9.30am on Tuesday 15 March. The panel event will include presentations and a question and answers session with the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI), Dr David Rose of the University of Reading and 香港六合彩精准资料 organisational member Red Umbrella.

The session will look at the increase of mental ill health in agricultural communities, drawing on national research and providing insight into the valuable role counselling is playing in tackling what has been described as a 鈥榤ental health pandemic鈥 in farming.

Speakers

Nicola Neath is a member of our Workplace Division, a psychotherapist and Workplace Counsellor at the University of Leeds and she will be supporting a panel session on Mental Health Interventions in the Workplace. It will help organisations think about what they might need for 2022 and beyond.

Our former Trustee Andrew Kinder, a 香港六合彩精准资料 Fellow and Optima Health鈥檚 Professional Head of Mental听Health听Services听will discuss Female Suicides: What is Going Wrong? His talk takes place on Tuesday 15 March at 2.30pm.

Other speakers include Professor Dame Carol Black DBE, Professor Andrew Curran, Chief Scientific Adviser and Director of Research, HSE and from organisations such as Jaguar Land Rover, Kings College London and NHS Employers.
