How counselling training impacts personal relationships

Research Participants Needed!

Counsellors wanted to share insights on how counselling training impacts personal relationships.

Who? My name is Samantha. I am in my final year of a BA Hons in Integrative Counselling at New City College in Ardleigh Green, London.

What? I am looking for Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ-qualified counsellors who are willing to share their experience of changes in personal relationships since training to become a counsellor. My research project will involve a small-scale exploration of the potential impacts of increased self-awareness during counselling training on personal relationships and exploring the extent to which trainee counsellors can navigate these changes.

How? I will be interviewing four participants separately via Microsoft Teams. Each participant will answer the same 10 questions, which will take no longer than one hour to complete. These questions will be emailed to you a week before the semi-structured interview. The interviews will be recorded and then transcribed so I can analyse the data using Thematic analysis. You do not need to have the camera on when recording. All personal data will be kept confidential and anonymised during the research.

If you want more information and are interested in taking part, please email me.
