We're currently developing an evidence-based coaching competence framework to identify the additional competences required by counsellors and psychotherapists who wish to move into a coaching role. It will also identify the competences needed to combine both coaching and therapy in a single form of practice.
To inform the development of the competences, we want to learn more about the way our members who coach work. We would like to invite any members who practise, or have practised, as a coach to take part in our survey.
The survey includes a mix of quantitative and qualitative questions which will give you the opportunity to describe your coaching and coaching therapy practice. It should take around 20 to 30 minutes to complete. This will provide us with the detailed information we need to develop a framework that meets members' needs.
The survey will be open until Thursday 20 January.
If you have any questions about the survey or the coaching competences project, please email professional.standards@bacp.co.uk
