When Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ adopted SCoPEd we entered a period of implementation.

Throughout the implementation period we’re updating our processes and systems like our CRM database, the website and online application forms so they reflect the SCoPEd framework.Ìý

Our membership categories are being aligned to the SCoPEd framework and by the end of the transition period – expected to finish in early 2026 – all our membership categories will be fully aligned to the SCoPEd framework columns.Ìý

More information about the three stages of implementation is provided below, and in the animation and graphic on this page.Ìý

Preparation

This stage is now complete and we’v±ð have refined our processes and systems for the transition period which started February 2024.Ìý

Transition

We entered a two-year transition period in February 2024, which will last until early 2026. Ìý

This involves:Ìý

  • opening new temporary accreditation mechanisms (now available) enabling members, to move to accredited membership (column B) and senior accredited membership (column C) if they wish to, and where they can evidence the skills, knowledge, training, and experience to do soÌý
  • finalising new permanent accreditation schemes with new routes to move between membership categories. These routes will consider training and CPD alongside other existing skills and experience. More details will be published in due course

Integration

We anticipate this stage will start in early 2026. At this time:

  • Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ membership category entry requirements will be fully aligned with SCoPEd columns A, B and C
  • additional and permanent accreditation schemes and routes, mapped to the SCoPEd standards and competences of columns B and C, will open, enabling members to move membership categories should they wish to
  • new accreditation routes will reflect training and experience gained through practice and CPD

Courses may need longer to integrate any changes into their training programmes and will have until early 2028 to do so.

We’ll continue to support members with regular updates and work with partners as we progress through these stages.ÌýÌý
