AdaPT project - benefits for clients video transcript
What are the benefits of routine outcome measures and Pragmatic Tracker to your clients?
Ambrose Gillham, 香港六合彩精准资料 Accredited Counsellor
For me Tracker has proved to be an effective flexible tool, which compliments my work and benefits my clients. The completion of the routine outcome measures, including progress towards goals, promotes client self-reflection between sessions. It also helps provide continuity between weekly sessions, as I send the questionnaire links three to four days before the next session. I鈥檝e found that sharing and discussing the graphs has been an excellent tool for periodic review for some clients as it can create real interest and a sense of progression.

Clients tell me that what they find really beneficial about using routine outcome measures is being able to see their progress and this really shows in either their review sessions or their final session, where we look back at the results of the questionnaires that they have filled in. Being able to see that illustrated in a graph form clients find really helpful because it demonstrates to them very clearly the progress that they鈥檙e making and it gives them the confidence to carry on doing what they鈥檙e doing and that the work that they鈥檝e done, and the sessions they鈥檝e had, is really having a benefit for them.

I have received very positive feedback about Pragmatic Tracker especially from young clients. Some have mentioned they found it very helpful to use the measuring tools as a starting point to open up a discussion. I have recently finished working with a client and I have used the summary and chart pages to review our work together and despite working on-line it actually worked really well. And although clients have a sense of how much they have achieved they have reported how satisfactory and reassuring it is to see their progress reflected in the graphs.
